Have you ever heard the word Bounce Rate? When you create a beautiful content with quality links and media, then users will remain on your site and spend more time and this time will be calculated as Bounce Rate. This concept introduced by Google in the earlier times by the part of Page Rank Metrics. Later the concept of Bounce Rate worked out very well and became one of the major metric in site’s SEO.  It is always preferred to add related posts for your blog for more engagement.

To decrease this Bounce Rate, you must engage users without diverting them to other sites. For this you must follow many strategies such as putting attractive images, related videos, download links, important internal links, viral topics and more over all the above you need related posts especially when you are maintaining a professional blog.

Just as another word press blogger, you might have searched the plugins source wordpress.org for a relative posts plugin.  Requirement should be easy, feasible and reliable to the users in order to navigate the blog.  Once if you search for related posts plugins, you might get hundred results but not all the plugins are useful. Few of them are useful and some of them are harmful.

WORDPRESS RELATED POSTS:

Another simple plugin which is very useful for readers is Word press related posts.  Which was released by WordPress.org.  Another advantage with this plugin is, you could add sites related content which can be imported useful links as related posts, powered by zemata.  This helps in diverting the users by providing useful links and diverting them using outboud links.

PREMIUM RELATED POSTS:

This plugin allows you more than a related post option that means it has the ease to change the style, performance analysis with hood support.  That’s the only benefit from Related Posts plugin and it is ever benefit for your professional blog.  You would read the reviews and performance demo before going with the paid version.

JETPACK RELATED POSTS:

Yes you got the option related posts in the most useful plugin jetpack.  Just go to jet pack settings, and enable the feature.  It is always preferable to give thumbnail options for related posts and make sure you enable the option.  The only limit with this plugin is you cannot change the style and you may not expect more options for your settings.

CONTEXTUAL RELATED POSTS:

This plugin is very simple and shows a list of your related posts.  The only limit with this is text based posts and it is difficult to enable the feature thumbnails with related pictures.

Bonus tip:

Including the above plugins, it us always preferable to develop your own code along with styling which aptly suits to your site’s content.  Great sites like mashable created their own styling and related posts system.  That’s the reason it got lot of people engagement.

The final verdict is, it is always preferable to use related posts plugin as it is mandated to keep your visitors engaged with great content.
