Apple confirmed that core Apple Intelligence tools including Writing Tools, Clean Up in Photos, and Live Translation will arrive in China with iOS 27.3 in December. A developer beta launches next week on November 4 to begin testing. The full Siri AI is not part of this initial rollout, with some features powered through Alibaba’s Qwen models. This marks a long-awaited step for Chinese users on compatible iPhones after years of regulatory delays.
