On October 13 Apple introduced HomeView, a $299 smart display with a 7-inch Liquid Retina screen, Siri AI, and facial recognition that can personalize the experience for up to six household members. Pre-orders opened the same day for several countries, with shipments scheduled to begin November 13. The device is designed to sit on a counter or mount on a wall and works with the new Apple Home Collection of cameras and accessories from LG and Schneider.
