iFixit finished its September teardown set on October 6 with Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4, and the repair story barely moved. Series 12 picks up a stretch-release battery adhesive and a pull tab, enough for a 4/10, one point above the last base Watch iFixit scored. Ultra 4 stays at 4/10, same as Ultra 3: the 2.444 Wh cell is slightly larger than last year’s 2.313 Wh, but the screen still has to come off to reach it. Four screws on the case only expose the sensor pack and the S11, not a user-serviceable battery.
