Lines stretched outside Apple Stores worldwide on Friday as the iPhone Duo, Apple’s first foldable iPhone, finally hit shelves. Pre-orders opened on October 16 and sold through so fast that many delivery estimates slipped into late January 2027. Walk-in stock was limited and sold out quickly at many locations, bringing back the classic overnight queues. CEO John Ternus even opened the Domain Northside store in Austin to mark the moment.
