Apple’s first foldable, officially named iPhone Duo and not the rumored iPhone Ultra, still has not reached stores. Pre-orders begin Friday, October 16, with in-store availability on October 23, about a month after the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max started selling on September 18. Opened, Duo is Apple’s thinnest iPhone, with a 7.6-inch inner display and a 5.4-inch cover screen in star white or night sky titanium. The split schedule is the tell: the slab Pros were production-ready; the hinge phone is on a slower ramp.
