Apple’s first foldable, the iPhone Duo, opened for pre-order early Friday and demand proved extreme. Within minutes shipping estimates jumped from the October 23 launch date all the way into late January 2027. Apple called the response “nothing short of extraordinary” while noting it is working to get units into customers’ hands as quickly as possible. The $1,999 starting price has not slowed the rush.
