Apple introduced an updated iPad mini on Monday with its first OLED display, an 8.5-inch Super Retina XDR panel that fits the same footprint thanks to thinner bezels. The tablet is thinner at 5.4 mm, gains the A20 Pro chip, IP67 water and dust resistance, a landscape Center Stage camera, and an Acoustic Display for better audio without speaker grilles. Pre-orders open Wednesday ahead of availability on November 6, with pricing starting at $699 for the Wi-Fi model in midnight and starlight finishes.
