Good News For Telangana Job Seekers - New Job Notifications

With the approval of the new zoning policy, arrangements are being made to replace the jobs in the wake of the employee separation process coming to a halt. The notification will come before the Group-1 posts that have been pending since the age of 11. Instructions have also been issued to the Telangana Public Service Commission to this effect. It is credible information that the CM has received instructions from KCR to be ready for TSPSC indicating certain aspects related to Group-1 notification. However, it seems that the CM on behalf of TSPSC has explained to KCR that they are ready to take the notification within a month to a month and a half after receiving the list of posts. According to the authorities, more than 3,000 posts in Group-1, Group-2, Group-3 and other categories will be replaced by next year. Government departments have finalized the roster and rule of reservation for multi-zone posts and terms of service.

Eleven years later

Zones for key Group-1 posts in the state have not been notified so far due to other issues. Group-1 appointments made in 2011 are final. After the formation of Telangana in 2014, the zones were also blocked for the replacement of posts like Group-2 and 3. As a result notifications have stopped.

But, in the past there has been a lot of delay in the replacement of Group-1 jobs. Of the 312 posts announced in the Group-1 notification issued in 2011, Telangana got 140 posts. The court also ruled that 13 posts belonging to Group 2007 should be given to the then candidates. With this, out of 140 posts, 13 posts were removed and for 127 posts, TSPSC conducted written tests in September 2016 and recruited. However, this time TS PSC hopes to do so without delay. TSPSC sources said that according to the new zonal policy, notifications will be prepared only after everything is cleared.
